HEY MOMS!!!!! Take a quick break at lunch each week, sneak away from your kiddos for a few minutes, and come check out
Mom Math Time!
Starting this Wednesday, Carrie De Francisco will be hosting each week during lunch (12:00-12:30) “Mom Math Time”!
She will be sharing how to turn your family storytime into a fun math time. Each week, Carrie will share one or two picture books that teach a pesky (or complicated) math skill and then will share a few games, an activity, and/or a manipulative demo that moms can do at home to teach that skill.
Picture books and math skills are geared for 3rd-8th graders.
It's FREE and FUN!
No need to sign up. Just show up each Wednesday for a quick story time and "how to" session. Come every week or only on the Wednesday’s Carrie is covering a math skill that stresses you or your child out. This Wednesday (Jan. 29th) and next Wednesday (Feb. 3rd), the topic will be Addition & Multiplication.
Check out our FUNdamentals Face Book page for announcements of each week's math topic.
Contact Carrie for more information.
**Mom Math Time will be in her classroom on the first floor of the Education Building.**
