Thank you for your patience! After much prayer, research, meetings, and on going discussions with Hills Church, FUNdamentals will open their doors for IN PERSON learning for those who want an alternative to online classes.
PLEASE READ FOR DETAILS!
1. Please attend our Parent INFO and Orientation Meeting Wednesday, August 26th for all FUN families registered or for those who want to join us in 2020-2021. Important changes and guidelines will be discussed and vital paperwork needs to be signed. CLICK HERE to reserve your spot.
2. ALL learning sessions will start online the first two weeks (Sept. 9th and 16th) due to remodeling at host facility.
3. Some learning sessions will remain ONLINE for the entire Fall Semester. See our schedule for more details.
4. Many learning sessions will meet in person for the Fall beginning Wednesday, September 23rd. Several will meet outside (due to construction). Groups that meet in Fellowship Hall will meet inside beginning Sept. 23rd.
5. Several of the learning sessions will also be HYBRID.
6. Due to several factors, a few classes have been cancelled. If you do not see a class on the schedule, that means it has been cancelled for this year. If you are in our Mom's Bible Study or would like to join, please contact Jane B for meeting day, time, and place.
7. In order to participate in any FUNdamental co-op learning opportunities, every family is REQUIRED to sign and agree to our new SICK POLICY and additional COVID 19 Liability Waiver Agreement. Please read, sign, and bring to the Parent Meeting Wednesday, August 26th.
8. Participation in IN PERSON learning opportunities during the ’20-’21 school year does come with an inherent risk. Like other viral infections, COVID-19 does pose a certain level of health risks to individuals exposed to it. FUNdamental Co-Op will not and cannot promise that students or parents will be 100% safe from COVID-19 or any other form of a communicable disease while meeting in person. It is possible that a parent or a child can be infected with the virus, so we cannot guarantee children or parents will not come in contact with this or any other virus. As you consider having your family participate in the ’20-’21 activities, please take this risk into account before attending.
9. While indoors, social distancing practices will be implemented according to the physical space available. On cooler days, some classes will meet outdoors. When social distancing is not an option, facial coverings will be used following the CDC guidelines.
10. Masks are required on campus when social distancing is not possible. However, we will also honor all exceptions set forth by the CDC and L.A. County Health Department. According to L. A. County, children in K-2nd are not required to wear a facial covering. Ultimately, it is at the parent's discretion to decide if his/her child falls under one of the face covering exceptions.
11. Please read our COVID-19 UPDATE for more information on our safety plan of action while meeting in person.
12. All learning opportunities and schedules are subject to change throughout the year due to CA or National Mandates and closures. Thank you for your patience and flexibility!
If you have any questions, please attend our FUN Parent INFO meeting on August 26th and/or feel free to contact Carrie De Francisco.
If your family would like to join us IN PERSON this year, we will see you at the Parent Meeting and then ONLINE for our first class on Sept. 9th.
If your family no longer wants to participate in FUNdamental's Co-Op this year, we will refund your annual per child FUN fee. Contact Carrie De Francisco for a refund. Please notify Carrie BEFORE SEPT. 1ST. We will not be able to refund annul registration fee after Sept. 1st.
