Our last month is jam-packed with FUN!
MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU! Crazy FUN DAY
It is our LAST Crazy FUN Day of the year! Calling all Star Wars and Mandalorian fans. Come to class dressed as your favorite Star Wars hero, side kick or villain. "Mrs. De, the force is strong with that one!"
MAY 3RD & 4TH: OPEN HOUSE
Invite your friends to check out your favorite FUN classes. For safety reasons, make sure your friends RSVP with Mrs. De before they attend our open house. (c3@mdcbiz.com) If they would like to join us next year, they can register online at our website.
MAY 3RD & 4TH: YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR DAY
Calling all FUN Entrepreneurs! We invite current FUNdamental students to share their "businesses" with our community. If your student provides a service, makes things, and/or sells a product, we would love for him/her to share their business with our FUN community. First, students must sign up with Mrs. De (c3@mdcbiz.com) Then, they can set up on the patio, in front of the sanctuary, or by the playset on May 3rd or 4th.
TUESDAY, MAY 3RD: ART SHOW
Make sure you visit Mrs. Gina's art room on May 3rd. Her students are hosting an art show, which will showcase everything they have been working on this year.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 4TH: MATH INFO MEETING 12:00-12:30
What benefit is there to a math class?
Why does Mrs. Small ask a question of the day? What is involved with homework? How does the grading work? How can she help with basic multiplication facts?
What is involved in Math PDF?
After Algebra 1 what's next, Algebra 2 or Geometry?
Although it's a short meeting squeezed between math classes, Ms. Small will answer all these questions and more. She will explain how she aims to help your child take the mystery out of math, to be responsible for their own work and to learn in a fun environment. Please come if you have any questions about math classes for the 2022-23 school year.
MAY 13TH & 20TH: P2S'S LITTLE MERMAID FIELD TRIP PERFORMANCE
Come support your P2S and FUN friends in their production of Little Mermaid. May 13th and 20th are special field trip performances for homeschooling families and groups ONLY! MAY 17TH: CONSUMER SCIENCE FAIR
Swing by Fellowship Hall anytime between 10:00 AM-12:30 PM to check out our Consumer Science Fair. If you are wondering which paper towel is the most absorbent, which battery last the longest, or which hand sanitizer works best, come see our student's product reviews. They are testing everything from baseball bats to food to grocery outlets.
MAY 18TH: SENIOR DAY!
We will be honoring and celebrating our Seniors at lunch and throughout the day. Photo booths will be set up on campus to take candids with your favorite senior. Seniors will be recgonized in classes as high school instructors honor them and bless them. Moms of Seniors will be receive special thank you gifts and Graduates will be treated to a special on campus lunch. If you will be graduating in 2022 and would like to participate in our Senior Day, please contact Mrs. De (c3@mdcibz.com) . We want to make sure we have enough treats, gifts, and flowers.
MAY 25TH: WORLD GEOGRAPHY FAIR
Swing by the patio and outside area anytime between 12:30-2:00. Mrs. Scotti's Geography Class is hosting a World Fair. Come learn about countries, cultures, and food from around the world.
MAY 24TH AND 25TH: LAST DAY!
Summer break officially begins. We are off all summer. Classes resume the Tuesday and Wednesday AFTER Labor Day.
