WHAT IS LIFE STANCE CLASS?

Description

Life Stance, Shannon Baer, 7th-12th grades - with what they accept as being of ultimate importance. It involves the presuppositions and theories upon which such a stance could be made, a belief system, and a commitment to potentials working it out in one's life. This class will focus on expressing ourselves as we discuss big ideas, current events, and biblical worldview. A place for students to grapple with questions and generate answers with an engaged group of peers in order to gain confidence and understanding. We will not be using any particular text; however,PragerUvideos are favorites as are the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Dr. Jim Denison's Daily Article - Biblical insight to tough questions. I usually have a handout or two so bring something to write with and a notebook to take notes.
